i read the specsheet and i get the how the pistion has to sit in the block but do the rods have to be on the pistions a certain way?
also the rings it says to file fit them .004 and then are a certain amount if it was boared>? i just want to make shure this goes well!
also i keep forgettin this i need to run a gsr water pump and gsr timein belt?
thanks for all the help and thanks to b18turbo for the great parts. i will be calling you for more very very soon

honestly you should get a Honda manual...and check out all specs related to crank assembly.
Take a look at the clearances of the rings, piston-to-wall clearance, and bearing clearances as well IN THE HONDA MANUAL. Now in regards to the pistons...replace the #'s that Honda has in the manual w/ the recommended #'s that your piston company has..i.e. piston-to-wall clearances and rings and what not. Follow Honda manual on installation. Best I could tell you anyways.. Probably want to stay within the recommended Honda clearances for the bearings as well.
The reason I tell you to go buy the manual is because it's almost crazy to blindly take someone's advice over the internet about building something ever so specific that they cannot see and physically touch. Not that future posters are garbage..it's just that you have to trust number one in this case..and that's Honda. You should also have some type of experienced builder or atleast mechanic w/ you as well before tryin this out.
Don't forget to rub some WD-40 on those piston walls either.

your question about the rings doesnt make sense. put the ring in the cylinder, slide it half way down the bore using a piston and measure the gap. use quality measuring tools and read the chapter twice if you're not totally sure what to do.
