I am trying to find a "MACHINE SHOP" not a mechanic man.

The only machine shop I know in Miami is 'Mesa Balancing' The are aight, they did one of my previous engines and it was good.

Some people (local shops) don't like to use them tho... not sure why.

I just use them for small parts I need. I agree about the liittle "click" thing.

they are just mostly for the ricers that want a $500 dollar exaust and don't know **** about their car. I was there the other day and watched them scam some 17 old kid who bought a carbon fiber hood from them for $500+ and it didn't fit his car. (you all know how well carbon fiber hoods fit sometimes) They would not take it back because it had been installed on his car once. Then they were like, well, we can get you a vis hood for like another $500 dollars....scammers!!!!!

They are not really a perfomance shop anyway, just parts.

Personally, I wouln't give them $2000 of my money for anything.</TD></TR></TABLE>

big time scammers. full retail price and up on anything and evrything! they will tell you any thing to get your dollar just so they spend cash on thier own rides. i hate these kinds of places.

all version isnt too far behind(on pricing) at least they are super cool and way nice.
$6500 full USDM 99 B18C5 swap un installed?

Hey guys... don't mean to hijack the thread but i thought this would be a convienient place to ask about the next meet in northern FL?

I noticed just about every other city in the country is having a meet or several and didn't see anything at all for florida.

Some background, I just graduated and im moving from chicago to northern florida. Lookin to meet some fellow honda peeps and such. I also have a trans that needs rebuilding and it'd be nice to have another hand when i pull it.... I'll be moving into the tallahassee area in a couple weeks, no more chicago winters for me. Only problem is there are a lot faster cars down there so mine will have to get faster as well . TIA.

For a machine shop, i went to Dover here in OrangePark, Fl. They did excellent work on my prelude head after the napa timing belt shredded and incured valve and guide damage. Good prices too!
