Default Tune question regarding injectors

I have dsm 450 injectors with a resistor box. I had a turbocharged car with a tune. I took everything turbo out and now run a stock basemap but have my 450 injectors still. Would running these on my now stock base map flood my engine with fuel or will the ecu correct it?

So you said you had the set up tuned then just put everything else in another car why would you use that? Why would you try to use a stock map?

The fuel map/table is what tells the ECU how long to hold an injector open depending on load and rpm. If the stock fuel map is calling for 3 ms of pulse width at 4500 rpm and 50 kpa, it's going to hold your injector open for 3ms - regardless if your injector flows 200cc/min or 2200cc/min.

The ECU has no idea what size injectors it's controlling, it's simply holding a circuit open for a predetermined amount of time.

A stock ECU can not compensate for different sized injectors. Your engine will run very rich if you can't 1) run the stock injectors or 2) modify the fuel map.

same car, just took out the turbo and put a stock basemap on it but left the injectors and resistor box.

So its not turbo anymore? Take out those injectors and put the stock ones back with the stock map

he can run a stock map scaled for the 450's, it should run fine. stock ecu and injectors would be best though

I would think you could leave the turbo tune in. no turbo, no boost

this
it won't go into the positive pressure part of the maps.

Exactly, might be a little off cause it can breath now. My maps are a little rich near the transition to boost other then that it should be fine.
