Default b18c1 rebuild for boost?

hey i'm from scotland long way away from most of u lol any way, i have jst taken delivery of a b18c1 with jst under 40k on it with the idea of boosting it. my question is wht type of rebuilt would you recomend i do (eg seals, bearings, valve train, fuel system, ignition and so on) any thing like tht. my aim is to reach at least 300bhp.

p.s i'm kinda new 2 the boosting scene as u probs guessed.

if you arent going to switch to forged internals, i would leave it alone unless it is burning oil.

i was planing on useing forged pistons and rods to be on the safe side, but apart from tht do you think everything should be ok considering ure not boosting the **** out of it. also wht boost would you recomend but safe at the same time to reach my goal of 300bhp? thanks for the info. Chris

the boost will vary with the type of turbo you get, so its kind of hard to tell you how much boost. usually people with your goals run about 10 psi tho give or take.

o yeah and you might wanna change your display name

my buddy boosted his b18c1, left it stock and he runs around 300whp.

thats his thread, and it kind of shows what he does, although kind of vaguely.
