I am looking for a transmission for my turbo ls(stock internals) 4th gen civic.

The Ls transmission is out of the question due to its gear ratio's.

I am trying to decide between two transmission...

gsr lsd($800) 32k
Type R lsd ($1100) 45k

I was wondering, what my best bet? Both transmissions have the Lsd that i want but the type R has a final drive of 4.4. What does this mean?
From my experience with a gsr integra, I found that the 5th gear is a little short for my taste. Does the type r transmission eliminate this problem?
