TPS Hack, what is it????????
i understand that the ecu will go into open loop at a certain tps voltage. my question is, with this tps hack, is all you have to do is adjust the tps sensor so the voltage is greater at lower throttle? At what voltage does the ecu throw it in open loop? i know it is supposed to be .5v at closed throttle, and 4.5V at wot. what should i adjust the tps to at closed throttle? Are there any disadvantages other than a bad idle? what else does the ecu use the tps sensor for?
Sorry about all the questions, just trying to understand this a little better, thanks

The TPS hack is mainly for JRSC people. You basically force the TPS voltage to 4.5 volts whenever boost is present. This is done by using the pressure switch that comes with the JRSC kit.

well couldnt i just adjust the tps sensor so that it would read 4.5 volts before full throttle? thus putting it in open loop sooner?
why does it need to read .5 volts at idle? Will it throw a CEL if it isnt .5 volts? what else does the ecu use the TPS sensor for?
