Too TwinDisc Or Not
I have seen people you just weld some nuts to the floor and then use a bolt to make the pedal stop. The reason being is that you do want to go too far with the pedal stroke. https://honda-tech.com/forums/drag-racing-36/new-twin-disc-clutch-pedal-stop-2600973/

yea you need a positive pedal stop that's adjustable... reason being is that the hydraulic throwout bearing for the twinplates has a finite amount of travel until you pop the piston out of the bore or damage the fingers on the pressure plate.
the nut/bolt welded to the floor combo is very popular, cost effective, and works. just make sure it's a large nut and bolt and it has a good weld to the floorpan, I've seen people that use small bolts and nuts bend them or break them off the floor (you'd be amazed how much weight you put into depressing the pedal)
if I had to pick a twin disc to use, I'd go competition clutch all the way, their units are very nice and the kit is very detailed. plus they stand behind their products 110% and will resolve any issues you might encounter, plus if you have any questions during the install, the tech guys on the phone are very knowledgeable and will stay on the phone as long as it takes
plus their pressure plate design keeps pedal relatively soft and easy to modulate (it's fairly tame in traffic) compared to other clutches and they stand up to abuse.
I've used 2 stage 5 clutches in both Honda builds and had a custom built single disc made for my Sr20d s13. we've used the twin discs on numerous professional drift cars from the Virjin Jorj R32, to the Signal R34 (local buddy owns it), and numerous other cars without issue... we normally break everything but the clutch lol
I love everything I get from CC but I might be biased as they are a local company and friends work there

Q: I am using your clutch model #HM022SR. I am having trouble going into second gear. I thought the problem was that maybe i did not bleed the clutch enough so I bleed the clutch fully. When I finally tried to launch, the rpm would increase but car would barely move. Should i be using some sort of clutch stop to keep the clutch from overextending?
A: The HM022SR is designed to use all of the factory hydraulics and does not require a pedal stop. As far as pedal adjustment we recommend that the clutch starts to engage about 1-2 inches off of the floor."

Fuuuuu...... This is the e-mail I got from Exedy,
--------------------------------------------
The recommended break in is 500 miles of easy city driving.
For this clutch make sure the clutch engagement is set up 1 inch off the floor or install a pedal stop.

Contact that guy with reference to the link I provided and ask why they are giving conflicting information. Did you reference your specific part number when you e-mailed them? I called one day and they told me the same answer to the Q & A I posted above. For what it is worth I don’t have a pedal stop...
Some of the issues are caused by shimming the pivot ball.
