TO4E super wheel?
Has anybody tried the new Super TO4E compressor wheel? Please let me know if they like it or not.
Copied from the turbonetics website:
Turbonetics "Super T04E" compressor wheels take the T04E family of compressor wheels to a new level of performance! Utilizing state-of-the- art casting methods, HIP (Hot Isostatic Processing), the "Super" wheels have both a larger inducer and overall diameter. The increased overall size means more power early in the RPM band. The Turbonetics Super T04E compressor wheels give street enthusiasts and racers the most efficient and powerful T04E wheels yet.

Re: TO4E super wheel? (Dee)
that is pretty interesting, do they have a compressor map with it? As far as i know i doubt anyone has been able to get these yet, let alone tried them. If the turbo dsitribs havent mentioned them yet, they are probably not in full circulation.
Also dee, read this post

i was curious if the wastgate being on #1 runner gives you any boost creep issues. thanks

Re: TO4E super wheel? (Arturbo)
As a Turbonetics dealer, I was notified about these new wheels in April. They are made out of something called 713C Inconel. It is supposed to be good for longer life as they have a 150 degree higher thermal resistance and better durability from foreign objects (ie the rocks that my turbo loves to suck up). They are available in O, P, Q, Stage II, III, V and -72 trims.
I think these wheels came about because of the success some of the other turbo companies were having with newly designed wheels. They have a new "Pro-Comp" Turbine wheel that has a 10 blade head rather than eleven. Supposed to be good for less back pressure and quicker spool.
