toyo r888 225/45/16 are great tires, with wilwood 4 pistons front and rear with 12" front disk and 11" rear. Was a bad road with larger groves in the road every 20'. Happend in 4th gear at full boost and about 8k rmp.

You don't need a dog box. You've got a long way to go before going through all that. You need better tyres, brakes and driver mods before any of that is necessary.
hit up speed factory or Syncrotech, and get your stuff repaired.
I'm just curious to know as to how a bump could cause you to break a gear.. that's definitely a new one for the books IMHO.

Yea it's for Albins 1-4 gear set, Albins 4.23 final drive, Synchrotech Carbon synchro's, master rebuild kit, and Speedfactory shift change holder. Talked to both Speedfactory and Sybchrotech and its was that or dog box for 10k. Kinda sad it's a lot of money lol.

I suppose. But to me, my ultimate question is, what is the purpose of the car? If you're going to go through all of that for a 7K transmission, that means that it needs to be a race system only.
I still don't see the need for all of that when a good syncrotech upgrade and some "driver mod" can do the trick. You've got Lightningteg making the same power as you with similar tyres, and he's not going through these changes, and still going strong after over 7 years. .
I just don't see it.. but in the end, it's based upon what YOU feel, and not what anyone else thinks, "ya hurd meh?"

Don't get me wrong I'm not hating on it. If I raced competitively in the Honda I would drop 7k no problem. Thats a baller mod for sure....Congrats!

I think if you take the Albins part out of the equation you will save yourself about $5K. Just get new gears and have them all shot peened and heat treated. Add the carbon syncros and you're set! Now take the rest of the money, buy yourself some wicked axles and plan a 10 day cruise to the Caribbeans'... You're welcome.

Changed to dual fb 340 pumps and e-98 to try and get some power. Still same power though I'm maxed on the turbo at about 34psi. Injectors are down to 70% duty from 96% though. Got a new dyno run tonight with torque. Plans for 800 lph pump and bigger shoden turbo . Puts all the power down 320 - 1st, 400 - 2nd, 636* 3,4,5

Thats great!
I honestly have a hard time wrapping my head around it but very nice. I cant put much more then 250 or so in first. no way I could do 400 in second maybe just a bit over 300. Im thinking your transmission has longer gears in 1st and 2nd but anyhow great work

Found out the mystery of the disappearing coolant and overflow issues. How does this happen? (see close up of head gasket) Im at 2,300 miles. Going to get head milled/checked and installing GE head gasket this week. Also will check block deck. Before I removed the head I checked the head studs at 80 ft lbs I was able to turn them all about half a quarter turn.
