tip in detonation w/jrsc
I have a 97 GSR with a JRSC @8lbs
I have a cartech20005 fmu, JR BTC, JR fuel pump, cam gears, etc...
I am getting some tip in detonation, any ideas?

get a good fuel management and pay to get it tuned, i know its vague but thats what you NEED to do

let Ed dyno it. my car runs great since then. the money spent on dyno/tune was the best money spent on my car.

With the cartec FMU it's says to raise the base fuel pressure to cure this. Check the cartec site for I think was a formula on how much to increase it.

You can tune around it with fuel pressures, but you will not cure it completely without relocating the map sensor. The JR MAP controller will do this or better yet, the J&S Ultra. A good low-buck alternative is the TPS Trick by Rafe Jaffey. Look for it in the Forced Induction Integras forum on http://www.hostboard.com
