timing question for the standalone guys
what kind of timing are you guys running? for example, 10psi, at 7k rpm? what about 15psi at 7k? how much does one degree of timing in the top end affect your EGT?
thanks,
Jared

Re: timing question for the standalone guys (GudeH23a)
maybe.. i think they're at like .032" right now and i've heard some people say to use only .030".... well in any case i lowered my fuel pressure from 57psi static to 40psi static and i no longer get those misfires.. i guess i was WAY too rich .

Re: timing question for the standalone guys (Jared)
Pump gas 7 lbs at 7000 rpms, somewhere around 22-24! As boost goes up, timing comes down! Same applies to RPM's as they go over 7000 the time fades off to 19-20. I can't say I understand this, but as it was being explained to me it made sense.
Oh yeah forgot to mention I still have misfire issues! Haven't quite got that down yet!
