Default Timing

Can someone tell me what the correct timing mark is on a B18b? I am trying to set it to stock spec, but my book doesnt tell me which line to use there is four lines. In this order black, red, black, and then white. Which one do i need to use to put back to stock spec.

Thanks in advance, D

The far white mark is 0 degrees BTDC. The red one is 16 degrees BTDC, the stock timing mark. The black mark between the white and red is 14 BTDC and the other one is 16 BTDC.

So the red mark is stock timing? Also you said it and the far left black mark, both are 16 BTDC. Is this correct? So if i want to retard two degree of timing i would run it on the black mark between the red and white mark correct? Sorry for all the questions, but i am going to have my hondata tuned this wkend and need to have it all dialed in stock. Thanks again, D

Correct, the red mark is for stock or 16 degrees BTDC.

White - 0 degrees BTDC

Black - 14 degrees BTDC
Red - 16 degrees BTDC
Black - 18 degrees BTDC
