Default Time to get serious.

Okay. So i had replaced the headgasket and all that one D15B2... But it's being a stuburn little b!tch.

So, I'm tearing it ALL back down.. and gonna build it with my boss!..

We are looking to see 300's to the wheel

What I"m thinking so far is this from FJ..

-Turbo Superkit for Honda civic with D16A6 Engine
-Custom length JDM D15 Forged I beams connecting rods
-KMS Race Valvetrain Package forthe 88-91 Honda D16A SOHC non Vtec
-BISIMOTO LEVEL 2 TURBO Regrind for D series NON VTEC
-BISIMOTO Engineering Cam Gears
-Precision Fuel Injectors For Honda*440cc*

Please let me know whatelse you think i'll need or maybe a better route.. I"m all ears and I only have a 3000$ budget!

300 hp on a D, cut engine life by 85%.

You are not going to make that type of power with 440cc injectors, for starters. There is no real point to be getting camshafts ground or the cam gears. Also, there is no reason to build the valvetrain either. I would not waste the time nor money trying to build that D15, get a D16. What pistons were you considering?

You have an idea, why don't you get some better information and go hang out in the Forced Induction thread. You will learn a lot, but do not come off stupid because people will either flame you or not even answer your thread.

550cc injectors would be good for that 300hp... at the crank.
If you are going for 300 to the wheels then you should be somewhere around 700cc.

440cc is for around 240hp

It is simple math really... I have posted all the formulas many times. Too bad the mods never update the FAQs with good information, plus considering half of the links don't work anyways.

definatley will need to get that tunned and whay are you doing the d15 non vtec you could through a d16 head on and have a turbo mini me... the head flows alot better would seriously help the turbo set up.... but 300 hp on a d series is alot.... unles you do alot more internal work it wont last very long it will run and will be fast but as far as longevity it wont do well

oh ok.... in that case im pretty sure your good to go... to be honest i think that the stock d15 cam will do better than an si cam.... turbo set ups prefer stock or very mild cams i mean the si is still pretty mild but just thought i would share
