can i move the fitting from the side to top of the wg and just leave the side open?

i wanna run a mbc for when i go tune so i was thinking about moving the side fitting since i don't have another fitting for the top. or can anyone donate the fitting to me?

u can take the wastegate apart and move the side fitting where u want so it's allot easier to get to and you are able to hide the wastegate vac line much easier

so for a mbc, i need to run it through the side port? not the top?

yup, top port is for EBC only, you can tee off that side port for the MBC.

if oyu liek your motor you wont put boost only on the top port.....
by bleeding boost on the top port it just keeps the wastegate shut....
by putting boost into the side port it will be pushign up trying to open the gate after it overcomes the spring pressure

I wouldnt allow yourself to control the boost from the inside. It can stay in the engine bay because the only time you need access to it is when your tuning on the dyno. If you have access to it inside the cabin, youll be tempted to turn up the boost and next thing you know, you'll be making a thread about how you blew it up!
