TIAL Big Blue Spring 1 Bar, 14.5 PSI
TIAL Small Blue Spring .8 Bar, 11.60 PSI
TIAL Small Green Spring .65 Bar, 9.43 PSI
TIAL Small Red Spring .45 Bar, 6.53 PSI
TIAL Small Yellow Spring .3 Bar, 4.35 PSI
looks like u have the small yellow spring which is 4.35 psi. Maxing out your boost controller i dont think you'll be able to hit 15psi.

Not to jack your thread, but I never knew there was a "maximum" psi you can boost with springs. I thought they were only for the minimum. Anyone know how much I can boost with a .5psi spring?

I read somewhere that to get your wastegate max spring pressure you multiply it by 2, and add half of that.
So if you have 5 psi spring. Max spring pressure would be 15 psi... Can anybody confirm this?

Well if what I read, and posted is correct then yes you can NOT boost more then one bar with that spring...

so then you would just multiply by 3, because half of a number multiplied by two is the number you started with.

Re: tial wg 38mm spring..help.. (FwdCivicHatch)
I am pretty sure that that is a large yellow tial wg spring. That is .7 Bar (10.15 psi). That should be good for anything up to 20 psi
Take a measurement of the height of that thing and I can measure my extra one.

How sure are you of those colors? I'm reading something different on each site. I have a Green spring, not sure if it's considered big or small. Importparts said it was a .5, and a few other sites say it's .5, but i'm reading in your post and on other sit'es that it's .65.

Re: tial wg 38mm spring..help.. (Hoosier Daddy)
viren, i do not see how the wastegate spring has much to dow ith the max one can boost. I always have thought it was solely dependent on downpipe and wastegate size... Maybe max safe boost because the wastegate gets stuck open? *confused*
