Default TiAL wastegate users... quick question!

I noticed when installing my WG last night onto my manifold that inside the box my WG came in, there is a think metal ring with a beveled edge included and I have no idea what this is for. It matches the size of the exahust inlet on the wastegate, but it makes no sense having it on because it won't be flush with the flange on the wastegate..

Any clue what this is for??

put it on with the flat end towards the manifold and the beveled end into the wg and tighten it down. you need that piece

U have to install the ring on the wastegate and bolt it down, bolting it down will push the ring up and make it flush. Paul
