I just installed my Drag III kit this weekend and I think my Tial is staying open all the time. The reason I think this is because I can see exhaust coming out of the dump tube. I have a line coming from the side port of the Tial t'd with my Greddy BOV line going into the side of the turbo compressor. What could be causing this?

 

Did you install the metal ring between the wg and the manifold that tial included?

I think your BOV should be teed to AFTER your throttle body.

yes.
keep the tee from the WG side port going to your compressor.
have the BOV vacuum line POST throttle plate. try that and see what happens

 

Well, at first I had the little ring that came with it installed but it did not fit into the hole on the wg flange, therefore not sealing completely onto the flange. So I ended up taking it off so there would be no gap between the manifold and the bottom of the wastegate. Could there be a problem inside the Tial?

I have the Greddy BOV and the port on the top has a line going to the FPR vac line, but there is a bottom port that I ended up t'ing with the WG going into the side of the turbo compressor.

 

You have to install the ring. It sits flat when you tighten the WG down.. the wastegate is spring loaded.

yup i had the same problem...its the metal ring for sure.

 

that ring is not supposed to fit into your WG flange. As stated above, it is supposed to seal the plunger inside the WG when fully tightened down. Make sure you put it in the right way, it should fit very "snug-ly" into the WG port
