Quick question on where BOV and wastegate are connected to on GSR
Well I'm finally installing my greddy turbo on my 96 GSR and have 2 really quick questions. Where do you put the T fitting to connect the BOV into? and where do you put the T fitting for the wastegate. i've read to put it after the throttle body on the back of the intake manifold and i see two hoses there. should i just connect the BOV into one and wastegate into the other? If you have pics, they would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance
also, what size do i need for the T fittings... 1/8 or 1/4? and plastic or brass fittings?

Re: Quick question on where BOV and wastegate are connected to on GSR (tegunderpressure)
ok, i have the greddy type s BOV and it looks like there are two spots to connect the vacuum line. so i have one coming in to the BOV from the wastegate and then another going from the wastegate to somewhere on the intake manifold? do i have that right?

the fiting you screw into the blow off valve is the vacum for it, the other is just a small opeing maybe a relief opening?
correct me if im wrong... about the small fiting
look at the picture the red hose going to the BOV is the vacum

Re: Quick question on where BOV and wastegate are connected to on GSR (TurboB18C1)
The lower port on the Greddy blowoff valve is the assist port which would be tee'd to the compressor housing. Since your car is a Honda and using a MAP sensor instead of a mass-air sensor, you really don't need to use the assist feature. It just allows the BOV to open with less vaccum on the diaphram. Make sure you have the lower port of your wastegate hooked up to the boost reference port on the compressor housing.

Re: Quick question on where BOV and wastegate are connected to on GSR (pngfolife)
this is probably really stupid but where is "the boost reference port on the compressor housing"?
from what i understand so far, the BOV is connected to the intake manifold. but im not sure on the wastegate.
i'm using the greddy kit if that helps. i know its an internal wastegate, but where do i tee it into?

There should be a vaccum fitting on the compressor housing. Use this as your boost reference for the wastegate. The BOV is tee'd from the manifold.
