hey all, quick question, i got a tial mvs wastegate used with my turbo manifold, its v banded, and when i took it off i saw no fire ring, is this normal? does the mvs not use a fire ring? any input is appreciated!
my buddy car made really good power without one. we nore the tuner didnt know it didnt have one. the car was 20 times more louder without the ring. i would get one and put one in. one guy at the dyno session said you lose massive power on the top end but again we didnt notice it
Use the ring as as standard. They come new in the box. IF you bought yours used, purchase one from a TiAL dealer. You do lose some wastegate control without it, despite the above using it the way they had.
