Okay i have a 14b/td05 turbo and i recently got a internal wastegate for it(turbo didn't have it when i got it) and i put it on and the flapper is slightly open still could it be because there is no vaccum line attached to it or should it still be closed??? or couldi cut the arm that gouse down to it and then weld it back together shorter???
here are the pics

here are the pics

all depends.
is the wastegate you have now the same as the one that should have been on there?
they make adjustable internal wastegates, you might want to look into that.
but in my opinion, just get and external wastegate anyway, your going to end up wishing you had.
