Tial BOV questions...
I finally got my Tial Flange welded on yesterday. I'm running 5psi currently and either it's not opening or it's really quiet. I seem to barely hear something when I let off of boost but it's really, really quiet. I Wanted to see if that is normal or if it should be more audible. Is there anything I can/should do to make sure it's functioning properly? And no, I'm not a ricer wanting a loud BOV, it can be silent as far as I'm concerned, I just want to make sure it's functioning properly.
Thanks a lot for any info.

make sure you run a large id vacuum line to a non teed source such as the brake booster line. and see if that works. i dont think that bov is made for such low boost, its a 50mm diaphram. if it continues to surge or not work, just up the boost

Re: Tial BOV questions... (internet ay)
Cool, those are both ideas I thought may either help or be the issue. I'm running a relatively small vacuum line connected to the same source for vacuum as my FMU I believe.
Thanks.

The Greddy Type-s is a 20-25mm BOV.....Lots of velocity there...makes it loud. The Tial is very big 50mm when it opens the volume of air you are using isnt very much. The Tial doesnt get louder until you are creating gobs of power....We still can barely hear ours..lol..but dont leave tools or shop manuals over it...they will blow all over the place!
