bov and waste gate ?s
ok so i just picked up this 98 civic. its got a b18b1 turboed. i plan on ripping it all out and redoing it all eventualy but for the time being i have a couple of questions. first the BOV has two vacuum ports in it. one in the top and one on the side twards the bottom but only one has a line running to it. the other one is just open. does anyone know about this. and 2 the wastegate has the same issue. there is twqo vacume lines on it but only one is hooked up? i did some research and found some diagrams of how it "should" be hooked up but i wana know if i change the way its set up could i potentialy **** it up? any help is great. and if your going to sit there and talk **** for what ever reason save your breath.

The BOV should only have 1 one it, It sould run to the intake mani. And for the WG where dose the only line run to? It should have 2 lines? Do you have a BC or anykind or boost by gear?

usually thats how most people run those with just a vacuum line ran to the top nipple. the bottom one is for recirculating and venting air back into the system and most do not run it like that only on factory turbo vehicles.

Leave it alone. Go to the Forced Induction forum and look at engine bay shots of other peoples builds if you're not sure what's routed to what.
