Well here is the story , my V-band at the inlet is not sealing , it is tightened all the way down and still leaking some , What I was woundering was I bought the gate like 4 months ago and it has the cast V-bands , and my buddie just got his last week and the clamps are not cast but machined , and you cant tighten his all the way , seem like they are better built also , has any one ran into this ???? I did a search and came up with one topic but it was edited so it did not help much , tia

nope it is perfectly flat , My question is mainly about the clamps
