Default Throttle position sensor....adjusting

I have read that some off the low throttle jerkiness associated with The AFC hack and 450cc's can be overcome by slightly modifying the throttle position sensor?

Is this true and if so how do i do it???

I have a 1993 civic with a D16Z6.

thanks

paul

I don't know what affect the it will have on the hack. Remove the tb and observe the 2 screws holding the tps on. If its USDM, the tops are sheared off when installed. Slot them with a dremel, loosen and rotate the tps to achieve desired voltage, tighten. Removal isn't necessary, but its easier to slot them.

Just had a look at it and it looks more like rivets??? holding the TPS on to the throttle body. Not sure though. why the hell didnt they use normal screws/bolts!!

Ya I know. Those **** bastards. Funny because Hondas are generally pretty home mechanic friendly, then they go and do something like that.
