Default Throttle plate keeps getting stuck

I just swapped a d16z6 into my 97' civic and it ran fine for about a day, but now when I let off the gas really fast the throttle plate will get stuck open just a little bit so that it idles at like 1500 rpms. I can fix it by tapping the gas, but it's just annoying. Anyone had this problem?

throttle cable may be gummed up remove and run a solvent through it WD-40, gunk may clear it up, check that the throttle cam and spring are clean and lubed, the TB plate itself may be gummed/carbon'd up, remove and clean carefully many solvents are not sensor safe.
