HEy Guys i was wonder is it worth get a 70 or 76mm throttle body in a victor X manifold i know that the victor x is good for 65 but if i get a 76 or 700 i gotta open it upp...
So the question Is it Worth getting A bigger throttle for turbo an stay with 65mm

 

How much power are you looking to make? Personally I just like to have my throttlebody the same size as the intercooler pipe so I upgraded to a 74mm after I went with 3" piping. I have made almost 600 on a stock t-body though so just goes to show how non important they are.

 

well im doign bout 425 with 2.5 pipin an my boi is doing 300 wat doo u think its better too stay 65 mm

 

You probably wont see any gains either way. If I was going to upgrade I'd probably go bigger and port the manifold to match.

 

If you have 2.5" IC piping, then get a throttle body that is similar if not slightly larger in diameter.

2.5in x 2.54cm/in = 6.35cm
6.35 cm x 10mm/cm = 63.5mm

Therefore get something about 64mm or slightly larger
