Throttle body gasket w/JRSC
Does JRSC company make a diffrent gasket that go's between the charger and throttlebody then the stock honda one or can a regular gasket from honda work with the charger and make a good seal. Just wondering cause I bought my charger used and used hondabond and had a leak on the bottom of my throttlebody so I bought a gasket for it and it still idle surges but dont know where it's coming from. Thx for your time.

I believe the JR gasket is just a thin paper gasket. I just cut mine out of cork and put a thin layer of Hondabond on each side. Haven't had any issues for a year or so now.

check between the blower and the manifold if there are any leaks this can cause strange idle also ( you might hear a little noise )

Re: Throttle body gasket w/JRSC (dutchmikkel)
I've taken that **** apart like 3 or 4 times, replaced the gasket twice between the the blower and manifold and that didnt fix it, then I put a new gasket between the blower and throttlebody and that didnt fix it but the reason I'm asking about the gasket between the throttlebody and blower is because when I went to put it on a little bit of the gasket was on the left side of the throttle body, (Closest to the firewall side) was entering the airway passage. But like I said, it was only a little bit of it but there was still enough of the gasket to make a seal. Well at least it should of but that's why I was asking if there was a diffrent type of gasket that JR sold with there unit or if the stock honda gasket would work just as well.
