Thoughts on BW S362?
Hey All,
I am in the process of getting ready to go boost my s2000, and i still am having trouble with the choosing a turbo, i am up between a GT3582R and a Borg Warner S362 with extended tip technology (ETT). I am looking for decent spool because this is a street car, and am looking for 500ish wheel horsepower for the time being, my question is what turbo is better? Where does a 362 normally hit full boost? this will be on a custom EL topmount manifold built by peakboost.... does anyone have experience with BW turbos,i want to know if the t3 .70a/r vband turbine housing will mate up with any other garrett style 3" vband clamp/downpipe out there?
any help would be great!

How about throwing an S258 into the mix of consideration too? This is the discussion that I've been wondering about GT35r vs. s362 vs. s258, all in T3. . . Oh, vs. SC6262, other than for the fact that the Precision reliability is beginning to worry me a bit.

Since the S2k has a pretty long rev range I think the S362 would probably be a better choice than a 258, but thats just my .02, I would think it would have more breathing room up top and I would hate to see you run out of breathing room in the last 1000-500 rpm of your powerband.

i run a bw s362et in a t3 flange. great turbo, made all the power i wanted it to. has made 38psi before out of my little b16. on a 2+ liter moment, it should have great spool times, and make all the power you need it to.

im pretty much sold on the S362 w/ .70a/r T3 inlet, its a great performing turbo, and will make all the power i need it to, the only way i will go 35R is if the 362 wont fit
