how in the hell did you get an air cleaner on the turbo intake without grinding away part of the block including the serial number?
TIA

Same here, I am using a mesh screen. There is no way you could place a filter there unless you are running a super tiny turbo and a 2" inlet. I barely had enough room to fit a hose clamp there (with the GT2871R).

Thanks,
I'm using a Nissan T28, inlet is 2-1/2". I was thinking about a combination of 90° elbo's to allow filtered air into the intake. So far, I haven't been able to find bends close enough. Wonder what HKS supplied with their kit?

did you look into aluminum bends ??? say from ATP i believe .... very tight bends, they use them for making new turbo outlets (IE.. Different angles / bends). I used one off of my outlet and made my intercooler a backdoor to reduce piping. Id say thats the tightest bends you can find unless you pie cut a steel pipe but thats a lot of welding.

My compressor's on the drivers side, lots of room for a filter there.
