Default those of you with the C&R

Hey guys,
I got my c&R about a month ago. It seems that my rad fan turns on ALL the time...(not when the car is off) It is not using the radiator fan control module...It is really weird. What did you guys do with the condesor fan wires? Did you connect them to the rad fan wires too? I just covered them, but I was thinking maybe this is causeing the problem...I have no idea what to look at. I tested my rad fan relay and it is fine. any Ideas?
Thanks,
Josh!

My fan is not on all the time. I left the condesor fan wire alone. Was your oem one on all the time too?

Well when my car was overheating a lot...I wired it to be on all the time...but I ran completely different wires for that set up, and left the tock wires alone...and I have completly removed those wires...now. It is on a perfectly stock wiring harness.

did you have these extra wires AND the stock harness hooked up at the same time? Maybe you fried something...secondly, does it really matter? heh...I mean, is the car not warming up or something? I don't think it would be a big deal to have good airflow, though the life of the fan will be less.

hey, na the stock wires were left unconnected when I wired it to be on all the time. I just had the fan connected to the extra wires. That is the exact problem. It won't warm all the way up. It gets 1/4 of the way warmed up....and stays there. It will sometimes get up to normal temp, and then cools back down to 1/4. If I have the heat on, it never gets fully warmed up at all.
Thanks,
Josh

yeah,
my thermostat is modded cause preludes run really hot(or at least mine does). Thats why I am trying to get my fan to run off the ECU now...cause I know it will heat up to op temp...then the fan can turn on...rather than cooling b4 it is really nessacary.
Thanks,
Josh

Hey, I put in my C&R about a month ago. I just spliced the wires in for the regular fan. The A/C fan clip I just left alone. It's just hanging there zip tied to something solid.
