I now understand why my track times are horrific, (besides my 60' and launching needs lots of work).. the car shifts to 4th WAY before I get to finish the 1/4....

Solution: put it in d3 and ride it out

I didn't know how far D3 (or 3rd gear) on an auto could go MPH wise before hitting redline or 6800, so I took her on the freeway to see... did it twice and according to the tack I hit 7000 on the nose, but the AFC listed my highest rpm at 6300, damn the tack is WAY off at higher rpms... anyway I got up to 110mph in 3rd before I let go and shifted.... I expect WAY better times at the track next time now that I will keep the car in 3rd safetly just before the point of redline before finishing the 1/4...

Think I can easily hit 14's if the car is doing 100+mph trap?
