Default those with inline fuel pumps... what brand do you recomend??

theres the $77 msd inline pump, the $170 zex booster inline pump, airtex inline pump (misc prices on partstrader), and a walbro 255 inline pump for $130. so many brands... cant decide which one to buy... the msd looks fine to me... but it has a 3/8 inlet, and a 5/16 outlet... dunno why...

If you're doing an FMU high pressure setup I would only consider the Bosch inline.

All these fuel pumps are made to push and not pull. The intake design is pretty good for the street car.

intake? you mean intank? i was told by everybody that an intank fuel pump will be insufficient for the fuel pressure i will be running.

Dont you still need an inline to help pull while the intank pushes. Dustin posted about this topic awhile back.

the msd one will be just fine. my friend is running one on his accord turbo. that pump with fmu 10:1 and stock injectors at 5-6 psi. easy to install. yeah both sides are not the same size, but we used the same size hose for both inlet and out and the smaller side we just clamped it down real tight so it won't leak and it works great.

Who makes good intank pumps? I won't need anything too wild, but something above stock...what would you recommend?

Where are you guys mounting these inline pumps?

good intank pump, just Holley I think, if python makes anything for em, stay away, holley walbro are all the same get the 12-916FI pump, otherwise make a sump and use a barry grant, Aeromotive, MSD etc....think you can make a corvette intank fit must flow over 220lph.

I use a msd also, no problems works fine with fmu 12:1, stock injectors, running 6.8 psi at max boost.

if you dont want the pump to sound more than your radio inside your car i recomend intank pump, im pushing 320 whp with walbro pump and will be pushing 400 with the same pump, walbro is what i recomend.

Not with an FMU, though. We've all seen the graphs for even the "high pressure" walbro.

I run the gss342 with my hondata setup, but I'd never run it with the FMU.

I swear I have said this before once, maybe twice.

I run haltech e6s with 550 injectors, I have to admit i have installed fmu´s before but on other cars i never liked the idea of the fmu when theres engine magement and dino shops avaliable, there are a lot of ponies lost and lots of risks involved in running fmu´s above 300hp.

You can get a new High Pressure Walbro intank for about $110
as Dustin said, not to be used with an FMU but if you have a Hondata, its the way to go.

oops someone said that already....
