Default Thinking of going turbo with a 87 crx

Hey, I don't actually have the car yet. But I'll probably have it within 2 weeks. Anyways, I have a buddy who can do alot of the fab work to build a custom turbo setup for the rex. I'm thinking of pulling a turbo from a DSM and working around that. Am I nuts? I fairly new to Honda's but I'm looking for a high 13 sec. daily driver. So any suggestions regarding info and part choices will be greatly appreciated.

Tony

Thanks for the suggestion. I was reading that page http://coolazz.tripod.com/turbo.html. How much will this set-up vary when trying to adapt it to a 1stgen? Oh yeah, am I dreaming of running high13's/low 14's with a custom set-up with an IC?

So how much hp would I be looking at on a stock motor? I'm seriously thinking of doing that custom one from the link above. Has anyone built a crx following the instructions on that site? I'm hoping for close to 200 at the wheels.

Thanks for the sites guys. Has anyone here actually done this? Or does everyone buy a kit?

Anyone have a Civic or CRX(that runs) for less than 1500 for sale in IA, IL, WI or MN. I'm located in the very southwestern part of WI, if that helps.
