thinking of going lsv turbo
hey im new to fi...my first turbo car was b16 turbo with itr valve springs and sk2 tuner1 cams and sk2 manifold first gen..i bent some valves so i took it out and im in the process of reffing my ls
ok after im done reffing i want to start on my lsv turbo im planning on just buying new super tech flat valves and slapping the head on thinking if i should rebuild the ls bottom end with arp rod bolts new rod bearings ofcourse and rings...or should i get forged rods/piston..my goal is to be at around 300 to 400 whp..any iinfo on what else is needed of is appreciate thanks
my kit is a turbonetics turbo with 750 rc intjectors will be buy a six puck clutch and fuel pump

My lsv bone stock head and block made 266@8psi. If you want it to last then put forged part but I also think between 300-400 hp will last for a while. If you can get another ls block and build it on the side

which turbonetics turbo is it? Is there any particular reason you are going with flat face valves? I would suggest staying with the dish style. Flat face is specific to N/A builds from what I've seen. Someone else might have some more information on that later on. I would go ahead and go with forged internals that way you can go from there and upgrade at a later date with your setup if you so choose to

I just rebuilt my lsv did new bearings rings and honed the block I made 315whp on 10psi using a garrett 57 trim and a ramhorn manifold.

cool i would love to be somewhere around there but what was your whole set up? did you have to get a new fuel pump? what tranny were you using was the head stock?
