thinking about a valvetrain. lsvtec on about 15psi?? not sure of what to get
did some searching and im still unsure.
setup will be an lsvtec, b16 head. gsr cams to start, nothing more than itr cams in the future. i plan on keeping the rev limit around 8500 (currently at 8200).
i will be running between 15-18 psi, or somewhere in the low 400whp range with the 60-1 i have.
whats a good route to go? stock valves with aftermarket springs and retainers??
also what about keepers? i was reading up on them and was getting the idea that they should be steel not aluminum

good to hear. almost the same as me, but i have an lsvtec.
is the seat pressure on these springs too much to run oe gsr cams with???
a few years ago i had skunk springs in a z6 with oem cam and i believe it eventually caused me to shear the locking key off the camgear

Well if your going to keep relativley stock redline then you should stick with the GSR cams. You can also run GSR cams to 8500 on a single spring setup. Supertech is a great spring setup and would be nice for the ITR or gsr revving higher or just for insurance.
Stock keepers shouldnt be an issue, im running stock keepers on crower dual springs, all motor cams and ferrea valves to 8500 on an LS and there fine
