hey, i got a d15z1 (vx motor, believe thats the right code) so far if i want to turbo my motor, i have the turbo, injectors and a shitty *** intercooler (doing home-made turob style) i know i need the following:
-oil lines, piping, a better intercooler, bov/wastegate, i have the proper manifold, what else will i need? thanks
ps; would you turob my motor?

I would say: Boost what you can safely, add on later, but boost!


You have the turbo, injectors, manifold, IC, do you have an AFC/V-AFC? If so, run the afc hack on low boost with a BOV/Waste combo off of ebay. Stay with what you have. No reason to get another IC at this stage in the game. Spend the money on the BOV/Waste, get boosted, and slowly start replacing parts and tuning as is necessary. If you wait until you have the perfect setup, then you will probably be waiting forever. Just play it safe, boost a bit and tune at each stage!
