Thermal Wrap good enough?

No only wrap the Intercooler piping, that is if the wastegate exhause will hit it. Other than that you should be good to go.

i bought the wrong wrap. i got the white fiberglass kinda wrap to wrap the exhaust. I used it on my ac lines, and oil drain line. Ohh, and part of the dump tube near the ac lines. Its good for 2000 degrees so it should be okay right?

Also, that dump is exactly a foot away from my iC piping. You say wrap it too? I mine as well, but im gonna do it with the silver reflecto wrap.

You shouldnt use that wrap for the Oil lines or A/C lines..The wrap you bought is to prevent Heat escape form the pipes(I.E. your Exhaust,Dumptube,Manifold) not to block heat.. Basically youre making the oil line retain more heat inside thus heating the oil even more..you dont want to heat it, you want to cool it.

you need the "foil type" wrap for your AC lines or Intercooler pipes.

But for temporary use.. it will protect them correct? I already orderd the right stuff.
