Default is there a formula to calculate this?

ive searched and can only come up w/ specific scenarios, but none of them matched my own. if i get larger injectors (thinking about some 450cc dsm ones), what disc should i be using on the fmu? im sure a lot of you guys know from experience, but is there a certain way you can calculate it?

your honda motor wont be able to idle properly with
only those bad boys in there, look into the 'AFC hack'
to eliminate FMU disks, or go with a fully adjustable
FMU like a cartech unit..

used a good inline pump with that 12:1 disk
a Bosch pump is recomended..

or..invest in a VAFC and use the hack method to
get those 450cc DSM injectors working nicely..

450cc injectors + 12:1 FMU = large amounts of gas shooting out your tailpipe!

You do not need an FMU at all with injectors that size. You will need some way to properly control them at idle/partial throttle because they are gonna run suuuper rich. The VAFC Hack or a standalone like Hondata is something you'll need to look into.

ok, so i'll buy the larger injectors when i get some sort of tunable devices. im planning on a standalone later anyway, so i'll be ok w/ the stock inj w/ the 12:1. i just heard i can get larger injectors if i change the disc rating, like 440cc's and a 6:1.

a walbro intank 255lph pump is on the way for me
amongst the 'regular' boost junkies on this board
and i agree the pump above wont handle the high pressures
associated with stock injectors ans the 12:1

ask around and look into a bosch pump, find one
used from a reputable source and its a step above from
the walbro

Get the DSMs, adjustable FMU, and an AFC. I have used this set-up on our 89 with a b17a and a T3/T4. Works great!

Agreed except for the adjustable FMU part - with DSMs and an AFC you can run rich right up to around 9-10 psi boost with the STOCK fuel pump and STOCK FPR, no FMU needed.

my situation is that im looking for something to run at only about 6psi daily until i can get a standalone. when you mentioned how i can run the DSMs and a VAFC, is that a good permanent setup? if i'll be safe w/ running that at no more than 6lbs daily, i might go w/ that since its a lot cheaper.

fmu 12:1, inline fuel pump, and stock injectors. or you can get 310s and run a 8:1. the best bandaid setup for your nonstandalone fuel setup.
