Test Pipe Gains
You're better off getting a high flow cat. There's a bunch of downsides to a straight pipe, and the hp gains are minimal over a cat. With a straight pipe, it'll sound bad, smell bad, and make it troublesome when smog time comes or when you get pulled over. For purely horsepower, a test pipe is worth it. BTW I got a carsound cat for sale!
i dunno i was highly reccomended to run a test pipe by many people when i went turbo.. if your car is running rich and u backfire alot kiss that highflo cat goodbye.

300cfm vs 418cfm of a test pipe. Not much of a difference? Okay do whatever you want but numbers don't lie.
