technical turbo question...
ok, so right now i have a turbonetics t4oe turbocharger...im looking to do a motor swap this winter...havent exactly decided what im doing about that yet...
but i was thinking of converting my turbo to a t3/t4oe...and i was just curious, on hybrids like the t3/t4, does the exhaust side represent the t4 side and the a/r side represent the t3
this was the only way it makes sense to me...since it would spool up quicker because of the smaller a/r...also what is a good combination (size wise) to put witht the t4? i would buy a t3/t4 but its much cheaper just to convert mine since ive seen t3's for about 150-250
thanks
Kevin

Re: technical turbo question... (SpoolinLS)
No, its like this...
t3(turibine side)/t04(compressor side)
Both sides have an a/r. For instance....t3(.63 AR)/60-1(.70 AR)...I think
