Default Instant messaging

I don't have instant messaging (nor will I ;-), so I can't reply to those couple of questions that have been asked.

I don't have a page to explain it yet, but if you understand why you need this information, then you should know how to use it - I will try and get a page up ... You MUST know the input impedance of the device you're connecting the WB unit to in order to use the spreadsheet correctly.

</TD></TR></TABLE>

Is the input impedence of my hondata-chippped ecu something I can measure myself or do I need to look it up off of a chart somewhere?

When the IM box popped up it said I was not authorized! I couldn't reply. So I turned off that option in my profile - no idea if it worked?

Anyway, IM rather negates the usefulness of a true forum anyway.

I can't say about your ECU, but you can measure it yourself ... by reading off what the ECU tells you the measured voltage is while adjusting a resistance in series with a fixed voltage. When the ECU measures half the actual voltage, then the resistance you have is the input impedance to plug into the formula. Easy if you know what you're doing ;-)

has anyone taken the time to measure the input impedences of the honda ecus?
i dont want to take the time to do it if someone has already, otherwise i will.

peter..is there a minimumand maximum distance that wideband sensor should be from the turbo exhaust outlet????i have a bung 6-8 inches away but if thats too close i'll find a way to get another one farther away..wondering if too far is bad also or not??

I haven't seen any information on this.... (which of course doesn't mean it's not there... it just means that I haven't seen it). If you took the time to measure the impedences, I would be grateful. I doubt I would be the only one to use the info.

Have you by chance decided to take on this task? If so, let us know... I'm very excited to use this new afr-&gt;voltage mapping
