td05h. how do i know what the wheel size is? 16g? 18g? 20g?
ok i know this is probably a dumb question but i know basically nothing about the forced induction aspect of honda/acuras. so i acquired a td05h turbo from a Mitsubishi, but the problem is i do not know what the "wheel size" is.. well at least i think its called wheel size since from what i have gathered... though i could be wrong and if i am dont flame, just correct me please. so how do i know if its a 16g, 18g, or 20g? i've looked at all the markings i could find on it and nothing has helped. any information is appreciated. thanks for the help in advance

not sure what it came off of originally.. it was boosting a single cam honda before i got it. is there anyway to tell by the numbers on the housing?

Yes you can tell by the numbers on the housing. You can also tell whether it is a 14b by looxing at the compressor wheel. The compressor wheel on b series compressor has blades all the same height. The G series, have staggered blade height.
Post up the numbers, and if possible pics.

yeah i forgot about that
14b is single blade and 16g is double bladed.

Anyone needing DSM related info like this should always refer to vfaq.com
For your issue, just to back up what others have said....this is a reference for identifying alot of mitsu turbo's and types, as well as telling the 14b from the 16g with pics.
