Default TD04 b series?

So, I've been doing a lot of reading on this topic but I still cannot find the exact answers I'm looking for, or even the proof that it's been done. I recently bought a mildly totaled del sol that had a greddy turbo kit with the td04. I bought the car for parts for my integra. I'm trying to see about mounting that turbo to my b18c1. The main issue I've found is that it is impossible to find a manifold that will work. But lets say i figured that part out. Every forum I've read says this turbo is too small for a b series, frankly I don't entirely believe it because no one can back it with actually doing it. My car is a track toy, no drag racing and almost no street driving. I'm only looking to make around 300 whp. My question is: Is that power level really going to be maxing out this turbo?

GReddy's "B" series Turbo Kit came with a TD05 and not a TD04... why do you think that is ??? It will take greater than three atmospheres from the TD04 to even come close to 300 wheel HP on a "B" series... if you can get there. Everything you have been reading is true... the turbo is too small for your target HP.

A td04hl-15t is not that small when we talk about stock block turbo setup. A td04 without the "HL" is a small turbo yes. We must know what turbo.

I'm not an expert with these td0's but it says TD04H. It has 12 fins that are staggered on the compressor side (I don't remember which td04 that makes it). However I did just find out I have a coworker with a td05 and a manifold for the b series he's willing to trade for, so I may just go that route.

Yeah, TD04H on it's own still leaves several potential trims that the turbo could be.

Trading for a TD05 would be a good idea as long as you're confident of the health on the other turbo.

That td05 has 5 minutes of run time on it. So I’d be getting a brand new turbo for a 15 year old one.

Yep, go for it then. Especially if you're sure the manifold will fit the GSR engine.

Good luck.
