I went to my local jyards and found a few of these turbos off of mid to early 90's volvos. I couldn't find the size of the turbo b/c of how it was placed in the car and also noticed that it had in addition to 2 oil lines it had 2 anti-freeze lines. If i wanted to use this turbo would i have to replicate the anti-freez feed lines or could i seal them off w/ a bolt? also the car has 188,xxx miles on it...how much would u pay the jyard for it? thanx in advance...

 

A cheap piece of crap turbo like that doesn't really need coolant lines for your homemade setup. In other words I wouldn't worry about the cooling as much as the seals being in good shape.

 

wouldnt pay more than 50 for it. those turbos work well on single cams. go get it

 

ok, but for the anti-freeze lines should i just plug it w/ a bolt or what? does any one know the specs on this turbo? should i just look for something else?
