Default Tapping the turbo housing for the wastegate? anyone try it?

ive seen some turbos out there with fittings already on the turbo for the wastegate boost source. has anyone ever drilled and tapped into the turbo housing for this? or did u just tap the intercooler piping? i kinda want to tap it directly off the turbo, but i dunno how hard it would be to drill into it. any info or advice is appreciated. thanks

It's very easy as long as you have the right size drill bit and tap. You need a 1/8" NPT tap and drill bit.
