could it be coming from the supercharger?

have you drove the car yet? did it get louder?

Tapping? Like rattling/clicking?

What injectors are you running, and does it sound like its coming from the charger/manifold? New/used kit?

could be injectors or valvetrain.

maybe something loose hitting something in the engine bay. etc

Also check the entire length of the belt and see if its torn/damaged/embeded debris.

I think it could be the injectors... right now I'm running stock injectors until next week when I have hondata installed... could this be detonation??? I haven't retarded timing either... also-- do you need to bleed the oil or coolant lines after the installation to clear the air outta those? Anyway-- right now I'm just using the JR FMU.. I've never heard detonation before... so I kinda wanna think it could be that or it definately could be the injectors... but I don't know why/how they would be making that noise although someone else told me it could be the injectors.

I haven't retarded the timing yet... I'm gonna have my hondata installed on tuesday-- the sound seems to be coming from the distributer side of the head... could the sound I'm hearing be caused by my timing not being adjusted??? also I have stock injectors until I have the hondata installed...
What do you guys think?
Thanks a lot.

Zack

well, I did a little searching and found a very interesting post... https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=261690 I think my problem is the bypass valve not being sealed properly... after all, the car drives fine.. and the belts seem to glide perfectly... it's too dark out right now to figure out if the bypass valve on the JRSC is the problem, but I REALLY hope that's what's wrong... I think it must be considering the sound seemed to be coming from around the distributer... well, I'll keep you guys posted... thanks for all the help..
