so if the dp is up against the line get a braided line or try to re route the line out of the way..

well the downpipe is also hitting the bottom of the block. so im going to have to cut and piece it back togather. its hitting and not letting the down pipe sit flush. and where the guy tapped it at its going to be right behind the down pipe. heres a pics of me holding the downpipe to show you. its a terrible pic but i could hold the down pipe and take a pic.

no pic???....just plug the old hole and make a new one....or if you have to remake the DP to keep it from hitting the block then do that

I had the same problem. I plugged the old barb with manus bond, and then drilled and installed a bulkhead, higher and out of the way.

yeah when i got the car it was just the shell and the motor was out. well why it was out i guess he decide to tap it. so im am going to fill it and re tap it. he tapped it in the middle of the pan, and it needs to be closer to the passangers side. but its on the drivers side. thanks

Here's a pic of my setup. Not sure if you can see it, but below and to the right of where the bulkhead is, you can see where they braised the old barb. It was small as hell, and millimeters away from the downpipe. No way I would have been able to fit a line on, so I cut a bulkhead short, drilled a new hole, and manus bonded it in. Along with 10an lines, and a 10an 90 degree, everything worked out.
