yes a friend of mine bought it yesterday and sent me the link. Its not too bad, it seems to plot the points a bit funny. But if your lazy like me its good for an estimation, which is all it is meant to be. It has a ton of maps tho, all the gt maps also.

JJ Olsen also ran a 67mm compressor and ran an 8 too. Both these car are race cars but still heavy coupes. Just food for thought if you want to run a T70.

I peronsally do not like the T70 on our race car. No transient response....

Do you guys run nitrous? If you don't, do you think nitrous would help the transient response of that big turbo? I ask, because I am thinking of a T70 for my 1.6. I run a ton of nitrous and was hoping that it might make the T70 spool up on gear changes.

Thanks,

ZEX Man

The Greddy T67 is a mitsubishi TD06/TD07 hybrid. The TD07-25G is the compressor side. It has a 50 something mm inducer.

The T67 that is being spoken about here is closer in size to a Greddy T78, which has a 66mm inducer. The T70 that was asked about in this thread is almost as big as the Greddy T88.

could you run an antilag program to keep it spooled at shifts? I know its killer for the turbo but it would get rid of a little lag

It had a 60mm compressor wheel. The sc61 has a 61mm compressor wheel. Now correct me if I am wrong here. Check the link on the previous page and see. </TD></TR></TABLE>

I saw that you posted about a how well a T67 on a 2.2L MR2 "shop car" was running before he posted the link to the e-bay sale.

Isn't Aaron Bunch running a Greddy T67-25G?

The popular T67 turbo that the Honda-tech folks quote is the same (or similar) turbo I am running on my MR2 for this race season. This turbo gets its name from the 67mm inducer, and was introduced to Honda-tech through folks like ArTurbo and FullRace. It's a Precision Turbo unit that is basically a copy of the compressor side of the T04R (63 trim T04S wheel) with a smaller A/R housing and a P trim wheel. This combination is very popular in the Supra community, and has done well over here as well.

If you were reading into the fellows first post about the T70, or the other fellow's post about the T67 (or PT67, or PTE67), and already knew that he was referring to a turbo sale on E-Bay, then I think you are an excellent mind reader, with awesome analytical abilities that allow you to predict people's thoughts! (Either that or you know the owner personally, and knew of his question beforehand.

Either way, the Greddy turbos should not be confused with the much larger turbos that are named by their inducer size.

Here's a good listing (and specs) of some different turbos:

Thanks to everyone for your help. I definitely wont be putting on a T70 because of the lag problem and the fact that this is a street car and not a race car. I do want to say that i was not looking at the turbo on ebay. This turbo is from cheapturbo.com its the non ball bearing one.
