as the title states the guy i talked to about my setup said that a t3/to4e with a 50 trim would be great on my stock b16 but also be enough to grow with my intended poor mans type r. so i guess what horse power range will this support.
intended goals 250-300 on stack b16
400-425 on built engine

 

yea, i would prob recommend the 50 trim, or maybe go precision sc34

 

if youre going to be looking for 400-425whp later on the built motor, i would suggest the 57 trim.

i run a t3/t4 50trim on my SOHC and its killer, but on a b16 I would recommend doing a 57 trim like stated above.

 

i just bought a .57 trim for a b18 but not going to be running high boost, i would go with that so you dont have to bye another turbo after you rebuild the engine, just dont expect the best performance out of it until you do the rebuild.

 

i have the 50 trim .63 a/r turbine on a b16 and its a great turbo.. more efficient than the 57 trim. it boosts really linear and torque is level the whole way.

honestly i think the 50 trim is a good fit for the b16.
