Default t3/t67 on 84mm b16?

I have been looking at the t3/t67 and considering putting it on my block that is being built. Its an ERL 84mm b16 block(1715cc IIRC) with je 9.0:1,manley rods, and the ERL 5 Main Girdle. I will be revving to 9k and was curious what this turbo would most likely spool at ROUGHLY. Im running a slightly ported and polished head (b17), gsr cams, and skunk2 intake manifold. powerwise im shooting for 500whp.Any input appreciated.!

It's a 600+ WHP turbo, a bit big for a 500 WHP goal. Look at something smaller for 500 WHP. IE, GT30R, GT35R.

i would recommend a gt30r, since i know you want spool or just buy my turbo i have for sale, as it will get to you close to your 500whp goal, most likely mid to high 400s. but it will spool faster. either way, with the lack of displacement, i wouldn't go overly crazy with that big of a turbo.

That's what RPM's are for.

IMO, you have a b16, nice R/S ratio, build the head well and rev that **** real high.

Mine starts spoolin at 3800 and has full boost by vtec. Honestly the lag doesn't bother me at all espically if your going to rev to 9 you will have a long pull anyway.

I say...go for it.

You know you will want more power down the road so why not just get a turbo that will support all of your conceivable goals?

If you turned it higher than 9000 it would make a bit more sense, but I would still lean towards a GT35R. There was that 604 WHP dyno posted on a GT35R with more room to go, and it was making good boost by 5000 on an 84mm b16.
